Luke Chable added to our roster

Luke Chable For many years, Luke Chable has been described as one of the best Progressive House producers around. From his first release “Accelerator” to his worldwide seminal hit “Ride” (with Danny Bonnici) or his classic track “Melburn” (signed by John Digweed on “Bedrock”), it’s has been a non stop series of belters for more than 5 years straight.

After countless classic originals & remixes topping the charts all over the world, Luke took a well deserved rest away from the scene for a couple of years, only to come back even stronger. At the end of 2011, Luke came out of nowhere & took the world by storm again, with a fantastic return “Foundation” EP, which proved Luke still has what it takes to produce quality, soulful & melodic grooves. While the EP climbed its way up on the Beatport Top 5 releases sales, its leading track, “Substrate”, got rewarded “Best Track” of the year by cult UK act “King Unique”. This year we see his hit single “Ride” getting a re-release on Armada Music with some great remixes

With his dj sets being more techy nowadays Luke is still on top of his game and ready to dj all over the world. Feel free to contact us for availability and more information or click one of the links below.

Fretwell – Fever (Luke Chable’s Haunted House Remix) [TEASER] ~ Mesmeric

Edmund – When It Flows (i! Records)

Edmund Edmund, AKA 34-year-old San Sebastian native Diego Villar Ibero, should need no introduction to househeads worldwide. Since 2005, he’s turned out a string of consistently high-quality tracks and remixes for such respected labels as, Adaptation, Nulu, Loco Records, Deep Class, Seamless, Clubstar, DeepWit, Daddy Funk, So Sound, Large Music and Salted Music.

Edmund’s releases to date have covered a wide range of deep house styles, from the techy to the soulful – but with this debut album, coming on the mighty i! Records, he demonstrates more versatility than ever before. The quality is high throughout, and the programming of the album – with slower tracks interspersed among the club stompers, rather than the BPMs rising from start to finish – means that this is that rarest of treasures: a house album that actually SOUNDS like an album, not just a collection of tracks, and one that will repay repeated listening.

Kevin Yost Live in NYC

Kevin Yost Kevin Yost just recently performed his new live act in NYC for Strangelove Events.

Read all about his new setup in the interview and enjoy the extremely well received music from Gallery Bar, New York

You have recently debuted your live act, and we had the pleasure of hearing you absolutely ROCK one of these live sets at Gallery Bar in NYC for the Strangelove event in March. Tell us a little about what your live setup consists of and how this is different from your DJ sets.
My set up consists of Ableton Live, Akai MPK 49 controller keyboard and an Akai APC 40 controller. I set up a template where I have my drum kits, vst sounds and a few disco loops all at my finger tips. I start fresh for each set and create drum loops, bassline and chords as I go. It can be very challenging because you just can’t grab a song and drop it in there if the vibe is not right. I actually have to create the vibe from nothing and make it work. Im not really there to perform as much as I am to make the people dance. Its very different from djing because you are basically naked up there and have to fend for yourself and convince the people to groove to what your creating live. I love the challenge and I hope people dig what im trying to do which is give them something unique and fresh for each show. Djng is less challenging for me because I have been doing it so long and playing pre recorded music, matching the beats and tweaking the eq has become routine. Don’t get me wrong I love djing but I just feel like I can give more creatively to the people.

Beat Factory remix of ‘Diver’

Beat Factory Beat Factory did a remix of a Robert Mint track coming out on Baroque Limited on March 06.

The track is called ‘Diver’ and it comes also with remixes from Big Al and One Million Toys. There is a nice background story behind this track as well.

Robert Mint – Diver (Beat Factory Remix)

Robert Mint had the idea of taking an entire underwater studio and turning it into a club, with dancers, props and most of all DJ gear. Robert Mint amazed not only the people of MTV and Corona Extra, but also thousands of people who were able to watch the result all over Europe and on the internet. His vibe matching track “Diver”, which he produced especially for this video already made big steps and got huge responses.

Soulfinder Update

Soulfinder Soulfinder sets sight on 2012 to be a busy and exciting year, already he has been busy with interviews, guest mixes, podcast’s and he has also started to work on his second artist album.

His Sleepless Nights imprint has also been doing well with the 4’TH release which is due out in February topping the Release promo Hype chart and there will be more big releases to follow.

He just released his first EP of the year titled the Footprints EP on Russia’s Underground City label.

Stephen Hogg aka ‘Soulfinder’ was our feature interview last week and has been one of our favourite producers over the last several years.

The Irish producer has appeared on Eelke Kleijn’s ‘Outside The Box’ imprint, the legendary Deep Recordings and Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic’s much revered Mistiquemusic imprint. His impossibly dreamy and richly textured productions at times defy genre as they transport the listener through a wide range of moods and sounds. This week sees Soulfinder making his debut on one of Russia’s premier progressive house imprints Underground City Music with his ‘Footprints’ EP.

He also did an interview with Release Promo which you can check out here:
Other releases to come in 2012 is a Remix for DJ Tarkan and a release with Groovecollection Records.

Evren Ulusoy debut album ‘Chords of Grace’

Evren Ulusoy from Turkey just released his beautiful first artist album on ready Mix Records.

‘Chords of Grace’ fuses genres and ushers in a new era of deep melodic house music that’s retro-minded while simultaneously moving forward towards the future.

Evren Ulusoy is a rare breed of talent that shines a brilliant light in this next epoch of dance music. This Turkish miracle transcends the typical box of categorizations, holding true to his broad musical tastes and producing under various musical guises with his interest and talent spanning the spectrum from electronica to downtempo among several derivatives of EDM that always has his groovy, melodic and effervescent watermark. Evren Ulusoy‟s flavor has grown into electronic music like a fine wine; as a collector and true specialist of deep and gentle house music tones and frequencies. His calm passion for this form of music was garnered through parties in the late 90‟s in his homeland, where he experienced many wonderful moments which became a part of his life.

Soon after, his talent was recognized worldwide with his productions being signed to labels such as Toolroom, NightDriveMusic, Proton, Baroque, Outside The Box, Open Bar, Loco and iRecords to name but a few. In addition, Evren‟s tracks have been remixed by the likes of Florian Kruse & Nils Nuernberg, Sebastian Davidson, Karol XVII & MB Valence, Subsky, Gorge, Yvel & Tristan, Edwin & Ferdy, Pawas, Satoshi Fumi and Lemon Popsicle amongst many others.

Other news is that Evren Ulusoy is compiling and mixing the new I Records CD which will be out very soon worldwide.
